NAP TIME SHOULD BE UNIFORMED

How many of us agree children, at a very young age, feel the emotional pull of not being equal to other children due to the inadequacies of the financial situations of their home? When nap time rolls around, does your center provide the nap time sheets or do the parents provide them? When the parents provide the bedding, a classroom is supplied with non-uniformed bedding.

Schools have dealt with the issue of socially environmental conflicts for years with an example being the clothes children wear. Children, at a very young age, are exposed to the above statements even at nap time. This can play a role in making an equivalent emotional impact on the child. Feeling insufficient doesn’t make anyone feel good at any age.
